Hello

I have been exercising and eating healthier since November last year. I have lost about 16kg and am still a bit more fat than I would like to be, so I am looking for more changes in my nutrition to help speed things up.

I often hear people say how you should not eat carbs for dinner in the evening because it turns into fat when you sleep, and some argue against this and say there are good and bad carbs.
I usually have some carbs in my dinner, being potato, rice and sometimes (once a week about) pasta. I also gym at home at 9pm, usually about an hour after dinner.

Do i even need to worry about these carbs at all? And if they are relatively bad for weight loss, does gyming an hour after make much difference?

Please help me with advice

There are varying opinions on this topic. Carb=fuel. I need them. They are part of a balanced diet. Moderation is key, as with anything.

Modern research supports the idea that the body works in 3-4 hour digestion windows
Thus plan your eating NOW, based on what you will be doing for the next 4 hours.
Because at the end of those 4 hours, your body must eliminate or store the calories it does not expend.

SO ... are you climbing Mount Everest for the next 4 hours ?
Eat carbs

Are you laying on the couch watching the Walking Dead marathon for the next 18 hours ?
Cut back on those carbs
