i absolutely hate it when people talk about low carb dieting

isnt it really bad for your health and stuff???

the only reason you lose weight from it is because you are depriving you body of a major energy/food source..

constant loe carb dieting is no good but carb cycling is totally different and allows for muscle gain with minimal fat gain...u wood plan high carb dats on leg and back days (the most demanding), moderate on chest and maybe shoulder day depending what you do for delts and maybe arm day...low days would be off days so you eat catbs basically depending on your activity for that day...a period of undereating followed by a period of overeating will result in supercompensation (storing more than you normally would)

but this isnt beneficial at all if my goals are fat loss? I do cardio 5-7 days a week and a weight routine 3 days a week. my energy expenditure is rather constant since most of it will be spent on cardio.

Your body doesn't really need grains at all if you're getting enough nutrients. Just eat your vegetables.

Low carb isn't bad at all. The bad rap that low carb gets is because people get all of their stuff from animal meat so their fats are imbalanced.

Oatmeal in the morning would be ideal. Simple carbs post workout. That's all that's "necessary" for proper health.

the other bad rap is the body going into Ketosis for too long, building too many ketones, because you're not getting enough carbs.

the human brain needs about 100g of carbs a day to function correctly. Thats why heavy atkins followers seem forgetful..their brain isn't running 100% anymore.

reason enough to only use atkins plans when there are risks greater than the negative side effects.
