capsules vs tablets

i just got a new multivatin in tablet form. i know that capsules dissolve easier but is it true that tablets are just as good as swolowing small pebbles since your body cannot break them down enough? -_- i would have gotten capsules if i knew this.

the brand name is OneSource. does anyone know if these are any good?

one source is as good as centrum...which means its not that great.
next time get something from Source Naturals, like their Life Force.
crushed, high absorption rate, and well balanced.

Malk, just a quick aside, how is Source Naturals that much better than a regular old vitamin, such as Men's One a Day. I know the absorption rate is higher than most, is that all there is to it? And how low can the absorption rate be for the same regular vitamin?

I've heard nothing but great things about the Source Natural vitamins...except for when sara said she thinks one of hers might have cracked open or something and made them taste like sweaty buttcrack.

Basically Source Naturals just uses the 'right' forms of vitamins that have the best absorption to start with.
then they grind it into a powder and gelatin capsule it, because that gives you a ton of surface area, which means better absorption too.

compared to a hard centrum or thickly coated one-a-day/equate, they have a better rate.
Plus the ratio of vitamins is better. extra C because we need it, and your body expells excess easily...but low on iron (they do have Iron free too) and especially fat-soluble vitamins.

would it do me any good if i crushed my tablet multivitamin into tiny pieces and then drank it???

depends. if they used too many fillers and excess crap, then it still won't dissolve well.

and it'll taste like butt crack since you won't have a gel cap around it to seal in the flavor of freshly squatted ass.

Lots of ass and butt crack in this topic :D .
Is it good for the body to get a vitamin shock like that? I know that protein absorption is better when slower, why are vitamins and minerals different?
