Hi there, I'm Solinah 30ish? lol

I am 5'6
At my heaviest i was 240lbs 2yrs ago
my lowest 150lbs 6 yrs ago
currently sitting at 215 lbs

and have been here for months now i think i've hit my plateau (sp)

I work out 5-6 days a week, doing eliptical machine for 5 mins warm up, then i do 20 mins H.I.T for 1 min
normal pace for 1 min repeated then i do circut training for 40 mins
and do pliates and yoga twice a week

I am careful on my diet I have one cheat day, i'll admit it but i dont gorge myself..and take the following suppliments

fish oil 2x day
womens muliti vitamin 2x day
green tea extract 3x day
CLA 2x day
hydroxycut 2x day
glucosimine 2 x day

and avkar just before meals on my off day (s)

i've been trying hard for 3 months to loose 20 +lbs at least
and have another 5 weeks to go before our group vacation

I find that i float from 216 - 209 weekly but always seem to hover at 215

any help would be appreciated

i have also integrated the bike for my H.I.T. training for variety
i'm not a treadmill person, i have week knees and can't take the impact.

how are you defning HIT? what are youdoing for that?

How many calories a day are you consuming and how are you keeping track of them?

I second that on calories... if you don't overeat that is great, but I can eat a small helping of cheese fries 7 times a day and not be gorged but probably be well over 3500 calories.

Calories in VERSUS Calories out... you need to put out more to get a serious weightloss, so all of your exercise just might make you break even. Now, lets say you track calories and you are creating a deficit, than maybe its TOO much... you need a reasonable cut of your daily caloric needs (say about 20%).

HIT high intensity training,
i was told this is the best way to burn, so i warm up 5 mins, then i go all out as hard as i can go on a higher level for 1 min, then regular pace for 1 min, and repeated for 20 mins
and I alternate the gazelle with the bike and rower
i have been counting calories, intaking approx 1,200 - 1,400/day
with my work outs on my monitor i am burning 800- 1,000 calories
and i figured with other daily activities, house cleaning ect that i'd burn more ontop of my workout

Sounds like if you are doing all that calorie burning... than your deficit is WAY too large. You should probably up your calories with all of that caloric burning. I'd say maybe about 1700 calories at least, but bump them up slowly... Think about it, your only giving your body 400 calories AT MOST a day to do the rest of your daily living... like breathing and whatnot... NOT NEARLY enough, you are in starvation mode, in my humble opinion.

The biggest hurdle isn't getting in more food, its believing what I just said, you need to EAT more to LOSE more.

Is "circuit training" your weight training? What exactly are you doing for that part of your routine?
