Sport cant fit it in

Hi,

Im having trouble eating enough calories in the day. I worked out that i need 2600cal to maintain and im having trouble reaching this. The problem is that i want to bulk so i'll need to consume more than this. Any tips on how to do it? (my job doesnt allow for eating all the time, so eating every 3 hrs is out of the question)

My diet consists of

Breakfast: cereal + toast (appx cal 600)
Lunch: 2 Ham and salad rolls (appx 700cal)
Snack:apple or pear (appx 100cal)
Dinner: chicken and vegetable/salad (appx 800cal)

im also worried that my calorie estimates are off, if so can i be pointed in the right direction.

Try this site for tracking your daily intake of calories, it also has estimates of how many calories are in each food. But different brands can differ, so you can also add custom items in, or just use the details there already as a rough guide.

You need to focus on your fats, carbs, and protein intake before counting just straight calories. You need to get a lot of protein each meal to keep your muscles from losing mass. Hard-boil some eggs the night before and just pop em in your mouth the next morning, along with some milk and toast if you want. Oatmeal is a good way to start the morning as well. At lunch, have a lean meat sandwich with some veggies and an apple or something, believe me, you can eat it if you just tell yourself that you can.
