Hello all,

I have been searching and searching and although it may be one of those "duh" questions, I just need to ask so that I'm not hindering my diet in any way. So here it goes...if I'm following a strict low calorie diet (1200 a day) can I still drink regular coke if it's its within my calorie range? I hate hate hate diet sodas to the point where aspartame and splenda give me major headaches, so I avoid them at all costs. I only have a coke a day, and for the rest of the day it is water. I am trying to find a diet that works for me, and that is somewhat healthy...Back in 2008 after I had my daughter I went on an extreme diet, and by extreme I mean starvation, and weighed 107 pounds. (I'm 5'5) Now, i've gained about 40 pounds and I would like some advice please :) Thanks all.

The BEST option would be to totally cut it out but i understand we all have our guilty pleasures so if it's in your calorie allowance then it should be OK. There are 43 calories in 100ml in coca cola. But also contains a lot of other bad things.

Its entirely up to you but remember you need to eat/drink 3500 calories less than you require to burn just 1 pound. I use diluted juice and take time to think before i pick up full fat coke
