Cannot keep motivation

Hi All,
New here and to be honest never thought I would be trying a forum based site to try and help me. But here I am. For 6 years now I have either barely ever trained or not trained at all in anyway. Used to swim, play rugby at a decent level, cycle and a little bodybuilding along the way.... you name it. Then an injury from rugby stopped me training for about 6 months when I was 21 and I have never been able to get myself back in to training and I don’t know why. Now find myself at least 25kg overweight and just cannot get myself motivated to shift it. I find motivation for about a week and then that’s me I don’t do anything for months again. My job is quite physical in maintenance and I feel because of the extra weight and pure level of unfitness then by the time I am home at night I am exhausted and can’t drag my fat ass out to do anything.
Have now joined up to a start up gym that runs purely classes and have signed up to 3 classes a week. Not interested in doing the heavy weights again as shoulders are pumped from rugby years. Just want to shift the weight and get my energy back up. Joining up this site is also just to try and get me back in to that addiction of fitness that I used to have!
If anybody has any tips on getting my energy levels up at the moment to try and start me on good stead then please please suggest anything. Dietary or anything. I already try get 8 hours sleep a night so can’t really increase that more!

Cheers
Stu

What is your diet like, If you are not eating well you will not have the energy to do everything you want to achieve.
