Can Whey Protien go bad?

Just curious because I have a massive jusg of this stuff I bought a year or so ago and I'm no where near finished. Can it 'go bad'?

I would imagine they put an best before date on for a reason. Mine is good for another year, but I am unsusre if being open affects the date.

no date anywhere on mine, that would have been a big clue.

Yes, it can go bad, and it should have an expiration date printed - either right on the nutritional information or on the bottom of the package.
