Hey gals, I'm a24 active femal ( volleyball/kung fu around 5 x a week 1 1/2 to 2 h), have been all my life. I developed I underactive thyroid a few yearss back, but since last August it seems to be under control (100). While the weight gain has seized, I can't to seem to getbe rid of any weight (been tracking for the last 3 months).
I eat relatively clean (cook everything by myself, almost no sugar 1700kcl). The doctor suggested goind down to 1200 I tried, but I'm just to tired.
Yesterday I went to the gym to check my stats. The following came up:

Weight: 15st 2lb. 96,2kg
Height: 5'6.8'' 1.70cm

Ideal weight: 8st 5lb to 11st 5lb
53.4kg to .72.2kg

Bmi 33.3
Body fat: 36.4% [ideal: 20.9 to 29]

Body fat mass: 35kg [ideal: 20.1 to 27.8]

So according to this I have over 20kg to lose, but only 8- 15kg are fat.
My question: what is the rest? How do I get rid of it? Sb similar problems despite thyroid medication?

Cheers,
Lena

the rest is muscle, bone and fluid (blood etc.) all the good stuff you don't want to loose.

the lowest fat level without having health impacts for ladies is 12% (essential fat)

which puts your minimum healthy weight at 68-70 kg if you just drop fat. If you were to drop to 1200 calories you would be loosing healthy muscle which will adversely effect your metabolism in the long run
