Can I lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks?

I currently weigh 158 and want to weigh 138. Right now I am in ketosis (I have urine analysis strips). If I will continue eating very low carb, moderate protein, high fat VEGAN diet and exercise (burn 800-1000 cals a day while eating 600-800). Is this possible? Please help and give tips!

I have very little experience of ketosis - but have heard of extreme results from people who have followed similar extreme diets.

From what I've heard - the biggest issue is not how much you can lose in a short period of time - but how you keep it off as the diet ends...
There is little point in losing 20 pounds in 20 weeks if it is all gained again before the end of the year...

Please give great consideration to how you will eat and exercise after the last day of dieting...

In the meantime I assume that you are ensuring that the carbs that you do eat contain a good mix of nutrients - since a lot of fruit and vegetables bring health benefits. Also - we all benefit from drinking quite a lot of water.
