Sport Can I have your opinions on my plan please?

Hello, I am about to start an exercise plan. I have tried to write my own, I am looking to lose weight, tone up and generally get fitter. I usually just go to the gym and do whatever or go for a bike ride but I know I need a plan to stick to.

There wasn't a specific section for this so I have put it in here (sorry if it is in the wrong place) I would appreciate it if some of you could give your opinion on my exercise and nutrition plan. I know its preety basic.....

Monday
Breakfast = Bran Flakes, orange juice + banana
Morning = Cardio – Running 60mins
Lunch = Chunky Veg Soup + Bread
Evening = Chest & Shoulders
Dinner = Beef Stew + Granola Yoghurt

Tuesday
Breakfast = Porridge, orange juice + banana
Morning = Cardio – Cycling 12miles
Lunch = Chunky Chix Soup + Bread
Evening = OFF
Dinner = Tuna Pasta Bake + Granola Yoghurt

Wednesday
Breakfast = Bran Flakes, orange juice + banana
Morning = OFF
Lunch = Chunky Veg Soup + Bread
Evening = Back, Triceps * Biceps
Dinner = Pork, Mash & Veg + Granola Yoghurt

Thursday
Breakfast = Porridge, orange juice + banana
Morning = Cardio – Running 60mins
Lunch = Chunky Chix Soup + Bread
Evening = OFF
Dinner = Haddock fillet, rice & Veg + Granola Yoghurt

Friday
Breakfast = Bran Flakes, orange juice + banana
Morning = Cardio – Cycling 12miles
Lunch = Chunky Veg Soup + Bread
Evening = Abs, Calves, Hamstrings & Quads
Dinner = Sirloin Steak, Chips & Egg + Granola Yoghurt

Saturday
Breakfast = Porridge, orange juice + banana
Morning = Cardio – Running 60mins
Lunch = Chunky Chix Soup + Bread
Evening = Circuit Training
Dinner = Spaghetti Bolognaise + Granola Yoghurt

Sunday
Breakfast = Bran Flakes, orange juice + banana
Morning = OFF
Lunch = Chunky Veg Soup + Bread
Evening = OFF
Dinner = Sunday Lunch + Granola Yoghurt

Are you sure that this nutrition plan will be enough for you? Because you do have to be on a calorie deficit but not starving yourself.

Another thing is, if you can help it, eat with in 30 min after your work out, it will help you metabolize the food faster and more efficiently.

As far as working out goes i asked the same question and i got responeses that stated that i need to do weights before cardio and that i need to mix it up. This has helped me a lot.

So for example, in the morning on monday, dont just do running. Do the chest and shoulders first then the running right after. This will stimulate your muscles to burn that fat you are trying to get rid of and will continue to burn through out the running session.

About your food. Are you cooking all this on your own from scratch or is this all your store bought food?
