I think,you lose fat first before gaining muscle. I don't think they are possible in the same time. Eat a lot of eggs,milk and vegetables. Be sure you balance them well. Work out regularly to help you reduce weight.
unfortunately its a horribly slow process. you have to eat at maintenance and train the right way. you'll notice changes in your body over months...not weeks. You might only shed 1lb of fat and gain .5lbs of muscle in a whole month.
sorry got to dissagree,to gain you must eat in exess,to lose you must eat in a defecit,its either the one or the other,eating at maintenance will keep you where you are.
