Sport Can anything make yogurt less sour?

Sport Fitness
I had never eaten yogurt in a long time, and I tried to eat some today. The taste was very difficult for me to handle. Is there something I could add to counter this?

I am not talking about sweetening it or flavoring it though. I have no problem eating flavorless foods.

how aboaut a strawberry version? or eating ceral with it?

Add your own fresh fruit to it: strawberries, blueberries, bananas...the stuff you buy in the store with fruit added usually has a lot of other stuff added as well: sweeteners and preservatives...

Like Derwyddon said, I don't think it's a must eat food. But if you're dead set on having some try the Yoplait whips. They are lighter in texture and taste great!

The Yoplait whips taste good, as do the Dannon La Creme's. Yogurt has its benefits, but you also need to watch the sugar content - most of the better tasting ones are full of sugar.

I like yogurt, I don't consume them anymore, but they are great.

I totally dislike the fruit filled ones though as it tastes yucky IMO.

Adding your own fruits might help as it will add additional flavor and won't taste all soggy from being in the yogurt too long (like the ones that are already in the yogurt when you open it).

Try Quark. It's a German soft cheese with the texture of joghurt and it tastes fantastic. It's also pretty low fat. I like it with fruit or as a spread... mmm. And there is no bitter taste at all.

I've also heard that Greek joghurt is yummy and not tart, though I haven't tried it. You might be able to find it if you have a larger grocery store.

Mix 'er with some cottage cheese. Sounds gross, I know, but it actually is a really healthy, good choice - not that hard to down either.

And artificial ingredients like high fructose corn syrup.
