calories and fat grams please clarify

Im a bit confused, I have been watching what calories and fat grams Im consuming each day, and while I manage to not go over the recomended 2000 cals a day, I struggle to stay under them by very much as I drink a lot of fruit juise and smothies and stuff which all adds the odd 100 cals here and there, however I comfortably manage to stay under the recomended alowances of fat each day, normally not exceeding 30g a day.

What I wanted to know is in order for me to lose weight do I need to cut calories AND fat, or so long as I dont substitute fat for calories can I just stick to 2000cals a day but half my fat intake?
 
to lose weight you need to use more calories than you take in...

what's your starting weight?

Im very limited exercise wise at the mo, as did a fair bit of damange to my back and stocmach muscles durning pregnancy, so at the moment I just try to dance about in my living room every other day with my baby strapped to me lol!

This is only my second week of dieting so far, I lost 2lb last week, which if I can maintain something like that I will be happy.
My normal eating habbits each day are a wholewheat cerial with semi skimmed milk for breakfast, wholemeal pittas with tuna in low fat dressing or chicken etc of rlunch, mid afternoon smack of yogurt or fruit, dinner is normally a salad with new potatos or brown rice and chicken or fish and then an evening snack of a low fat cake bar. I dont drink any tea, coffee or carbonated drinks, just suger free squash and grapefriut juice, which I read was good for dieting cause its aids the liver in digestion or something?

But like I said I dont think my calorie intake is much belowv the 2000 mark
