Hello,
i am trying to start a bulk with healthy food.
My stats are:
16 yrs old, 157 lbs, 5ft 10,
7 weeks of weight training
i am doing a Full body workout M/W/F and pretty much just some basketball tues and thurs. Sometimes i have basketball and soccer games to play.
So i used the calorie equation on the Nutrition sticky and i got:
1750 calories when sleeping all day.
so then i multiplied by my Activity level which i think is about 1.4.
and i got:
2450 calories.
Does this mean my maintenance calories is 2450? and to bulk i have to add 500 calories to that adding up to 3000 or so?
i just did my first week and i ate 2550 calories for 5 days and i havent gained a pound of weight. So i think i should bump that do 3000?
Is this right? Please i need help.
thanks
