Sport Calorie Intake For Bulking

i am currently taking the GNC weight gainer which provides 2200 calories. And i roughly take in another 2000-2500 more calories from eating and drinking. I weigh about 155. is 5000+ calories good for me to bulk or do i need more? answer will be greatly appreciated thanks!
 
10,000 calories pal for bulking.
 
5000+? Definatly not more, I'd say more like 3500-4000. HEALTHY calories. Weight gainers are just some protein and tons of carbs (crap IMO).
 
Seems like a lot, but not unheard of. However, most of the individuals I see taking in those kinds of calories are world class athletes with crazy training schedules.

What is your build? If you are very skinny and have a rapid metabolism, 3000 probably won't do anything for you if you are trying to add muscle. Most skinny guys need to be up over 3500 calories to start to see change.

Oh yea, and ditch that weight gain crap and eat a whole, balanced, natural diet!

haha i laughed out loud at work reading that. People gave me one of those looks like "whats his problem?"
