Does it do anyhting for appetite supression or am I imaging it? OR do I just get hungry when I'm tired?

I think there have been studies on this, and caffiene is a mild appetite suppresant, but not hugely.

Coffee can be good for you in normal portions, drinking 3 cups a day lowers your risk of heart disease!

Caffiene used to be a key ingredient in weight loss pills years ago (diet pills got me thru many a late night cram session in college, but the jitters were brutal)

Caffeine has been shown to be a deterrant in preventing alzheimers... though non filtered coffee (ie espresso and french press) have been shown to raise bad cholesterol...

So moderation ....

very good information. I wasn't aware of those stats. I suppose moderation is the key to almost everything!

Nah, I wasn't forgetting the asprin.

EC stack works just fine and it's not bad for you unless you have contraindications or abuse it.

Not that I'm promoting it.

My stomach must have shrunk because I don't really get hungry much anymore (compared to how I used to get). I still get the occasional craving, but caffeine seems to help then. Although both the bananas I brought to work as my snack went bad. I was able to eat half but the one was pretty disgusting. They looked fine when I grabbed them not 3 hours ago.

As Steve has said, the EC stack is pretty much all that is necessary. It has been found that the A doesn't do jack for you in the 325 mg amounts suggested. And when you have to take the stack 3 times a day, you are nearing a gram of aspirin a day for almost ZERO benefit. Not the safest thing in the world to so for some.

Not that I am promoting it either. Too many variables involved for some people to assume responsibility for. I.E. It can be dangerous to people who are desperate and/or not mentally ready for it.

I heard the ECA stack does messed up things to a person's system, but personally, I haven't the slightest clue what it does.

Many people stack ephedrine with caffeine and successfully blunt hunger well.

i did that back in the day, just cause working 12-18 hour days trying to get a project out was brutal. I do miss the stacker 2 with ephedrine.

EC stack is great in moderation. That 3 times a day routine with 25mg of Ephedrine each dose is just silly. I keep it to once a day only on workout days, which is 5-6 days a week. I cycle 2 weeks on and 1 week off so my body isn't always adjusted to it. Here's what has been working wonders for me:

1 hour before my workout, I take 16mg of Ephedrine(comes in 8mg tablets), 200mg of caffeine, and 1000mg of L-Tyrosine. I've tried Hydroxycut Hardcore before putting this stack together and this beats that overpriced crap by far (not to mention doesn't give me acne breakout side effects like Hydroxycut did.) It's great for any type of cardio, but just keep your heart rate in check if you're doing HIIT. I've hit 198bpm during HIIT with this(my max is supposed to be near 200-205 for my age) and immediately had to bring myself down to prevent any bad shit from happening. Ephedrine is said to become dangerous if you're reaching your max HR for too long, so watch out.

No one should be doing HIIT while on an EC stack... VERY dangerous. As far as the dosing goes... it isn't "silly" to take the recommended amount of 3x a day. It's been shown to be most effective early on in the day followed by every 3 hours or so (optimally an hour before you work out).

However, I do agree with the overpriced after market stuff. Most of it is junk and you have no clue what you are really putting in your body. Sticking with over the counter stuff (like Caffeine tabs and Bronkaid for the Ephedra) seem to be the most recommended.

In regards to blunting out the hunger... I think that only tends to work for the first few weeks you are on the cycle. After that... the hunger pretty much comes back as your body begins to tolerate the side effects of the stack.

I guess, but the recommended dosage is 25mg which comes out to what in my opinion is too much x3. I prefer using less ephedrine and adding L-Tyrosine for my workouts, as 75mg daily just seems way too much for anyone to handle year-round. You can forget about sleeping forever.

What makes you think that 25mg is too much? Do you have specific facts or are you speaking personally?
