Does anyone have any experiance in this field? i have to write a report for school on possible careers, and CAD is something im definatley interested in. Anything like income, challenges in the career or anything like that is appreciated
 
I have had experience with autocad but thats about it. Maybe you should post on a technical drawing forum?
 
yeah mate, i am doing an architect degree almost finished and i work in a practice at the moment. best job i have ever done. well its equal to working as a doorman. unless you get ur car smashed up as happened to me this weekend then its a rubbish job.
But i work as a trainee architect until i qualify - i work in a architect studio. So, how can i help you.
 
Alright nice. So your in college right now. Is there a practice at the college, or did you go out and find it.How does the studio work? Are you assigned a project, or do you create a drawing and who ever has the best out of the studio gets to build their house. And overall how difficult is the job?
