Bulking up

I'm looking to bulk up a lot and was wondering what supplements people would recommend? I was thinkging about using Mammoth weight Gainer.

I just posted in your other thread too...gainers are ok, but better for portability purposes. EAT MORE REGULAR FOOD. That's what it comes down to.

Creatine could help a bit, BUT, I would wait a good while until you are well into a routine and not learning the ropes anymore.

A decent protein would be good as well, especially postworkout, and also if you don't get enough protein in your regular food (that you should be eating more of) :D

I am concerned about putting on extra fat onto my stomach while being on a weght gainer, and I really dont wanna do cardio since Im tryna gain weight, im really lost about whta I should do about this.

You'll inevitably gain some fat during a bulk. The key is to eat the right quantity of the rights foods. Generally its a ratio of around 40/30/30 for carbs/protein/fat (tho some people may tweak that).

You'll want to be mainly consuming quality fats so limit the amount of saturated fats. You'll want the healthier ones like poly and mono-unsaturated.

Weight gainers are good if you cant get enough regular food in you. Make sure they dont pack millions of calories of carbs (especially simple carbs) just to crank up the calorie count. You want a good amount of protein and a decent amount of carbs. Something like Pro-Labs NLarge2.

Dont be worried about fat - that can come off later. Just eat around 500 kcals over what your maintenance is. for an estimate of how many calories you burn a day and add 500 kcals like I said. Thats a good rough estimate to go by.

Hey I was thinking about using, MAMMOTH WEIGHT GAINER 2500, it's very densly packed, do you think this would be too mmuch and I would end up with a gut?

Here are the contents of Mammoth, I was wondering if this was good, I would be using it as a post workout protein and will probably take less then a full serving because 970 calories might be difficult to digest. A friend of mine recommended just using creatine insteead, and telling me to just get great definition and then use creatine to help build up the muscle bigger and bigger,

Avoid "weight gainers" that are packed with sugar. The weight you will gain will be fat. If you want lean muscle gain, eat pleanty of calories, and focus on protein. I have always supplemented with the same protein powder as I recommend to my clients, and it has no sugar, only natural ingreadient and high biological value protein sources. For weight gain purposes, I add extra healthy fats to it, including raw eggs (only from organic free range chickens).

The mammoth one doesnt have enough protein for the calories youre getting, keep in mind that you don't have to take a full serving of anything at once too.

I would go with a protein blend, or isolate as they have a higher biological value.

Optimum Nutrition (ON) makes some good protein. IDS isn't bad either (the isolate is the one I've tried).

Those are the top two that come to mind, Cytosport, MRM, and EAS are decent as well.
