Sport bulk or lean muscle?

Sport Fitness
Hey guys...i figured i would ask the experts this question. lol.

Anyways...I am very larged boned....very. im 5'10 about 220lbs(down from 240) when i was 240lbs...my ribs poked out like crazy...and they still do. now...withme being so larged boned...when i begin my strenght training...will i be end up being one of those bulky dudes who walk around with their arms cocked out cause they cant straighten them..or will i get a nice healthy muscular figure? and is this something that i can control?

Thanks...sorry if you dont understand the question. i can try to explain it better if needed

Stick your arm out directly in front of you.

Bend it so your hand comes back to your chest. Make sure the arm is level (parallel with the floor).

Next, use a caliper and measure the distance between the bone on top of your elbow and the bottom (both of these fell rounded sort-of).

Post this number please.

when you say caliper...what exactly do you mean?

I tried it using my hand...i placed my finger at the top and bottom...then i measuered the spread and it came out to be about 3 and a half inches maybe a little more. does this help any? thanks for the help!!

I am referring to something like this:

You can also use a body fat caliper, but it may not be big enough for your measurement.

Millimeters is a better (more exact) measurement than inches. Try again if you can.

ok...i used the method that i did before and measured it to be between 98-100Millimeters
