I run quiete often and when I do I find that I seem to shrink. Muscle around my shoulders and chest seems to just eat away. I also try to do build muscle by doing as much weight training as possible, but the cardio (running) seems to counteract that. I'm told that eating brown rice after my run is a good source of carb replacement, and I was wondering that if i eat too much brown rice in the meals before my run will I just build body fat. I usually run in the late afternoons because that is the only time I have free and eat brown rice with vegetables or salad after that. How can I stop myself from shrinking so to speak. I want to burn as much fat as possible and still grow muscle and run as well.
