Brian's Weightloss Diary

I started about a week ago. Since then I've only lost 3 pounds. Today is the fourth of May and I need to make some changes. I think my diet is fine but I haven't been doing any cardio at all. I've only been lifting weights.

goal:178
timeframe:3 months
how I'll reach my goal:cardio 7 days a week, weight lifting 4 days a week, and dieting(mostly fiber and protein)

I figured making this diary would motivate me to stick with my diet and exercise. I'm sure 3 months is enough time to meet my goal.

Hey..welcome.. Nice job on the 3 lbs...I am starting to see that the big picture is body mass..but its so hard to change that ideal of a specific weight..but i also have set a weight goal and its slow but im hoping its forever!

Brian, welcome to the forum.your goals sounds very reasonable, and im sure you can make it. weight lifting is great but to loose weight along with building some muscle you'll have to incorporate some form of cardio. most weight lifters prefer to do HIIT. it gets to the fat stores without decreasing the muscles. good luck to you it looks like your off to a great start :)

This morning when I woke up I didn't even think. I just put my shoes on and went for a run. That's going to be my attitude when working out for now on. Don't think just do.

I looked in to HIIT. I'm definately going to do that. Thanks for telling me about it.
 
hey great attitude to have! and HIIT is great i really enjoy it.keep up the good work and youll get to your goals in no time :)
