After your workout - you will burn much calories after the workout. I would workout with a light stomach - (not empty) - Eating maybe a protein bar or a banana or something that can help give your energy throughout your workout.
There has alway been that dispute rather to eat before or after a workout - for me personally - I am seeing more articles that tell you to eat afterwards. That is what I personally do and I do feel better doing so. Everyone is different though. Do what works for you
I typically eat a banana before I work out and then eat breakfast afterwards. My stomach gets really upset if eat a full meal, however, if I don't have anything then I am dragging through my workout.
