So, I'm sixteen years old and I'm having a lot of problems with breakfast and lunch. I have to reach school by 7:30 so I want a quick breakfast that can hold me for the rest of the day until I get out at 1:27 pm then I don't know what I should eat for lunch. I've been eating subway sandwhiches but that's making me feel like I'm wasting my money, you know?

Please help :willy_nilly:

The best option for breakfast in the morning is getting up a little earlier to prepare a wholesome meal :) Anything "to-go" is not worth eating.

And, of course, besides the wasted money (which is always the case when eating out), it's also not that good for you. It's a lot of bread. Even their healthiest bread is still way more bread than you need. Have their chicken salad instead, if you insist on eating out.

Can't you bring some fruit to eat between periods? I find that breakfasts hold me for the rest of the day a lot better if I have some fruit during the day.

For something quick in the morning, what I sometimes do is prepare enough steel cut oats for about 5 days worth. You could prepare this on Sunday evening, then it only takes 90 sec to 2 mins to heat up a serving in the morning. Have this with a protein source such as 1/2 cup cottage cheese, a handful of nuts (about 10 nuts), an egg or egg whites. You don't have to mix this with the oats by the way :) Also, have some fruit with this (this usually tastes good in the oatmeal). You might have to increase the portions a bit to keep you going for longer, but be careful about how much.

I don't know if you can realistically expect anything to hold you over for as long as you want it to, our bodies just don't work that way. However, you might find that it will work... everyone is different!

As for lunch, are you going home after school? Do you have to buy lunch each day? This is another meal that you can easily pre-prepare some things for, but that only works if you're going home or can bring it with you.

Bread Omelette, Oats, Bread Butter and boiled egg with milk are good option for breakfast. Need only 5 minutes for Preparing.

I have a bad habit of skipping breakfast, I usually take a cup of coffee and I'm good to go. I don't know if it has something to do with my inability to lose weight despite regular exercise :( I read that skipping breakfast affects metabolism, is that true?

Bread Butter and fruit juice otherwise sandwich with cucumber, tomato and onion take only 5 times for preparing and is the best breakfast.

Hi,
Eat this three meals healthy and rapid.

-Eating for breakfast, fried eggs with pepper and cup lemon juice and one apple in the latter.
-And at lunch, eat a salad consisting of lettuce, tomatoes and chicken and a little celery, and in the latter drink a cup of juice avocado.
-Dinner, eat vegetable soup with sweetener if you like it. (I suggest you dark chocolate It's delicious and low-calorie, Or apple pie and blueberry).

For breakfast I've blended smoothies the night before, or that morning, because it's less than 5 minutes to do. They can include fruit, veggies, yogurt, milk, cottage cheese, oats, anything really.
You can bake and freeze breakfast sandwiches of egg, low-fat cheese, a lower-fat meat/veggie sausage on the most whole-wheat bread or english muffin you can find. They take all of a minute to microwave. Great with a little fruit on the side.
Also, look up "overnight oats". Amazingly filling and a great energy boost in the morning. Very customizable to your flavor preferences.
