Although there is nothing intrinsically wrong with bread - especially if you do not opt for white bread, BUT it can be a real step on a slippery path.
I know that on my big project I did best when I banned it from the house... It was too much temptation... You eat bread so you eat butter and that can mean that a quick snack has amounted to a lot more calories than you wanted to spend.
Half the time I add cheese which is even more fat.
Four times in the past week I have resorted to having sandwiches at lunchtimes. That can make a high calorie lunch - especially if you do it as a meal deal and have crisps as well, or end up having two meal deals like I did on Tuesday.... OK so the shop where I got my Tuesday meal deals had nice tubs of fruit which I had instead of crisps - but I'm still talking a lot of calories...
In this challenge I am going to monitor my bread consumption.
To start things off I had bread last Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and today.
This has to stop. I need to be making better choices.
