Hi Everyone

I am really happy to be here! I hope I will learn alot from all who have been here a while and also learn from people's failures and achievements!

I am 26 and during early 2004 I was placed on Prozac for my general anxiety disorder (which is now under control) while on the medication I had no idea that I was picking up weight, or maybe I was just in denial. I was a size 8 and now I am bordering on a size 12. I have gone off the medication late last year. My relationship is suffering a bit because my boyfriend really wants that thin model looking woman he fell inlove with, I understand what he means, I miss the old me!

So I have been trying everything but not sticking to it, I have hardly any motivation. Hoping that you all can motivate me to work hard and to stick to something that works

Getting support & motivation from your b/f instead of pressure is a major step for your success. I'm sure your b/f isn't a chizzelled hunk of a man, so get him to exercise with you.
You should start a dairy in our diary section ... it's a good way to track your progress and it helps keep you motivated when you know you have to post your progress for everyone to see.

Good for you for just coming here and for coming to the point that you see you need to do something right for yourself. I have never been great at motivating past a month and now im on my second month...I love this site, everyone is really supportive and helpful and you know, we are all here for the same reasons! Good luck! Take a look at people's food diaries... there are full of good info and ideas! Go get em!
 
Hi, thanks for the encouragement, all you guys are really great, I need to look around the site some more and get started!
