Sport Bought this 24g protein Shake Mix..Opinions needed?

Ok, I can't really afford those big whey protein powders or whatever so I never thought about buying them.Anyway I'm trying to bulk. Yesterday I went to a local grocery store & found something dirt cheap, & what really grabbed my attention was that it had something at the bottom that said that there's 24 grams of protein in each serving. Well since it's hard for me to eat per pound of protein my bodyweight a day, I thought this could help or whatever. It's in a reasonably big container. This is what it's called, I give you everything off of the container. Carborite Sugar Free, Chocolate Supreme Shake Mix, Artifical and Articial Flavors.Excellent source of fiber,Smooth Rich taste, 24 grams of protein in each serving.

The Ingredents are whey protein isolate,non dairy creamer,(sunflower oil,maltodextrin,sodium caseinate,mono & diglycerides,lecithin,and natural tocopherols), fructoligosaccharrides,cocoa (processed with alkai)sodium caseinate,natural and artifical flavors,salt,celluose gum,xanthan gum,carrageenan,sucralose (splenda brand). It has 0 Sugar carbs. 150 Calories, Calories from fat 20, Total carbs 8 g, Fiber 5 g, Net Effective Carbs 3g, Protein 24 g.

Now would this be good for someone who's trying to get bigger? Does it seem like it will help? Is it bad? I was thinking about having like 4 shakes a day. That's like 96 grams of protein already. I currently way 150 lb, so with the stuff I eat daily, it should exceed over 150 g of protein right there with other food. Now I'm not an expert at this, so I don't really know what I'm talking about lol..

agreed. on paper it sounds ok (though 5g of fiber makes me wonder htf they did that)

try it, and see what happens. However I wouldn't take 4 shakes a day. I'd recommend no more than 2-3. 4 a day will give you mud-butt, and whole protein is better for bulking anyways.

cottage cheese - cheap protein
