I was born with C.A.H which is congenital adrenal hyperplasia. I do not have an adrenal gland and i am a salt waster. I've been on medication since the day i was born. I am very athletic but yet somehow i am overweight (age 22 weigh 236). I always ask my specialists about the weight gain and they always say your medication puts weight on you but also makes my bones and tendons pretty brittle. I have to take salt tablets whenever i am working out or playing softball (i play college softball). Anyone else have trouble with this? or even similar to gaining weight from medications? If so is there any type of solution to help slow weight gain down or even lose weight?
