Boot Camp/Tae Bo

Just wondering if there is anyone here who has lost weight from doing these?
I have the Boot Camp set, I have done them a few times, but I get 'put off' them because they are so hard to follow. I feel as though I am going to trip over my feet all the time! They are a great work out, but it seems there are no beginner DVD's to get me used to the steps.

Mitzy ~

Have you tried the original Billy Blanks workouts? They do have a Basic and Advanced version. I have them on VHS - if that tells ya anything of how long I've had them. LOL I believe Target has them, but not sure on the price. Definitely worth checking into though!!

I have the Ultimate Boot Camp dvds and they're great! But I found those are more for "intermediate to advanced" workout goers........in my opinion anyway.

Good luck!

I borrowed a tae bo video, and used it for a week. i find it very effective..lots of fun, and its good that billy blanks faces the camera n tells u to push it..that actually helps. But, cant do tae bo with a mirror around haha.. when i see myself doing tae bo in the mirror, i cant help but laugh at myself. Overall, its a good workout. For my cardio as of now, im jumping rope and sometimes running in place for 45mins.

When tae bo first came out I loved it. I lost about 20lbs (gain it back, plus, since) I bought the cardio circut and tried it recently and thought I was going to die. I didnt make it through the whole thing. the orginal are a bit easier to follow. I wish I still had mine.

Well I decided to pull the DVDs out of the cupboard, and do them. I have done them 3 days in a row, then had 2 days off (was very very sore) and started up again, this is my 2nd day, so will do 1 more day and have 1 day off. I have stepped on the scales and after doing this for only 5 days, I have lost 1.3kg (2.9pounds) I am really happy with this, and I have noticed that I actually look better, as in toned up. I am still pretty hopeless at it, but just do my best and the results are great. So don't give up!

Oh and mumof3, I saw your pics and you look fantastic. Well done.

By the way, my other name is Mitzy, but I couldnt remember my password so had to register again!

I also have the Bootcamo series and I LOVE them. For me, The moves are not that hard but as to do them every other day you'll get use to it. To eachs its own, right:D

I lost alot of inches. Not much weight ONLY cause I was doing the exercises evreyday and eating alot as well. My clothes were sliding off but the scale did not move.Myabe the scale was broken;)

I did get toned:D of course I stopped. but I am swicthing off my days with the bootcamp and the gym. So good luck to ya. And congrats so far.
