Boo's Shape Up Diary

Hello well am starting my diary. I have been working out since January 1st, I know is sounds corney but I need something to motivate me and I would like to see where I am next year. I am half way to my weight goal and need some motivation so I thought I would give this a try. I have read others on here and the support is awesome. I've lost weight after each of my kids but I didn't do it the fitness way just cut calories. I have started a workout with cardio and weights and my body is changing like it has never before. So here it goes any feed back would be wonderful!!!

5 a.m. Cardio stair machine 30 min.
Treadmill running 15 min.
Weights 30 min. upper body and abs
6:45 Oatmeal W/ blueberries (a few for taste)

9:30 4 cheese cubes and a half of apple
That is it so far what I have planned to eat is:
12:00 salad with Chicken breast and 1tsp of light dressing.
2:30 handful of almonds
6:00 baked fish with vegtables.

So this is what I have been eating like I hope it is what I am suppose to be eating!!! Feed back welcomed!! Please!!!
 
Seems a little lacking on the calories, try to see how many your intaking. Try for at least 1400 or more calories per day, with most coming from protein sources. Good job thus far.

It is a good feeling to be told to eat more, maybe that is why I have been so sluggish in the a.m. So what kind of foods should I add!! Protein? What time of day? Thanks for the advice!!
 
Friday

Okay my second day I'm trying to do better with the calories.

5:00 a.m. 45 min treadmill run 6.0 Weights 30 min. lowerbody I do 3 sets of 10 each weight going higher.
6:45 oatmeal w/ egg white some blueberries
9:00 almonds and yougurt
My plan to eat the rest of the day!
12:00 Grilled chicken with grilled onion, tomato and lettuce
baked sweat potato, snap peas
3:00 cottage cheese and apple
5:30 peanut butter 1tsp on whole grain bread
7:30 Eating later have a game 3 boy it's my life! Had Chicken stirfry lots of veggies my favorite.
10:30 lights out!!

I'm trying to do better on calories, if anyone has any suggestions on protein ideas would be great! I drink tons of water, I always have a bottle in my hand!

Yesterday I added a protein bar to my diet. I really don't like to eat that when I can have real food but I needed something quick.
 
Weekend Jounal

Well It was a crazy on the go weekend so here it goes!!!
Saturday:
Cardio 60 min stair machine.
Weights 45 upper, lower and abs
Walked out side later that evening it was so nice out, here in Iowa we love those days this time of year.

7:00 a.m. Oatmeal 230 cal.
10:00 Cheese Cubes 110 w/ half apple
12:00 Grilled Chicken sandwhich on whole grain pita W/ grilled onion tomato and lettuce 320 cal
3:00 Yogurt and a handfull of almonds 200 cal
6:00 Grilled turkey burger on whole grain w/ lettuce big lettuce salad w/ eggs and cottage cheese and light dressing. 510 cal
8:00 Yogurt 80 cal
11:00 Late to bed!!

Since I've upped my calories I do feel like I have way more energy in the mornings when I work out! I get a much better weight work out too! Trying to get this bod summer ready so I am really focus. :)
