Book Advice

Hey guys -
I've been working with a trainer for the past 6 months. My contract with him will expire, and I want to take the advice I've gained from him to a regular gym. However, whenever we refer to weight-training exercises, he uses what are surely commonplace names for them that I can't seem to wrap my mind around and remember which-name-goes-with-what exercise.

I feel like a fool. I can completely remember the names of various proteins and the difference between concentric and eccentric and why to pronate. However, the names of the actual techniques just won't stick with me.

Is there a simple book, with diagrams or photos that will provide instant recognition of all the things I've learned the past half-year?

Thanks so much! :xmas:

Why buy a book when it's out there on the internet for free, ExRx.net Exercise & Muscle Directory.

ExRx (Exercise Prescription) on the Net is a great site that is actually used by some trainers to maintain their continuing education units, so there is a wealth of info on there for you.
