Anyone going? Maybe we can get a challenge going to see if we can get to a certain goal by bonnaroo?

I went in 06 and 07. Great times. I didnt go last year and ahve regretted it. I wasn't really into the performers, but I know I still would have had a great time. Plus, there were some acts I did want to see. Just the headliners were meh. I know I would have enjoyed them, especialy pearl jam - just didn't get me as excited as the previous two years.

So my friends and I bought our tickets before the list came out. I hear rumors of Bruce Springsteen (interesting) Phish (ugh, Im not a jam band person) and my own hopeful theory that fleetwood mac might be there. They are touring around then. That would be insane.

I'd like to see My Morning Jacket, Spoon, The Flaming Lips, Dresdon Dolls, and the Decemberists. All have been there before. My Morning Jacket has been there a few times.

Can't wait for the Bonnaroo lineup? We'll be making our initial artist announcement on Tuesday, February 3rd.

Lollapalooza isn't even in the same league as Bonnaroo.

Its the most awesome experience ever. Its clean. No really, super clean. You could eat off the porta pottys (i wouldn't recommend it though.) Its extremely well organized. The shows begin exactly on time (the only exception when I was there was Common.)

Its got lots going on and people are cool. Except in the line for the comedy tent. Then people become assholes.
 
June 14-17th - tickets went on sale saturday. The first three tiers sold out within 24 hours.

Tickets usually remain until may though. They only have limited amounts in the first three tiers. Though, with phish playing 2 shows might be a lot more people trying to get tickets. Those jam band lovers seem to flock to these sort of things.
