been recently looking at some gymnasts on net, admiring yuri van gelden, i have started trying to do more body weight workouts lately, i have always used free weights. i know that gymnasts do lots of volume for years so don't expect same results. however thought i would give it a go for a few mnths.
doing stuff like 210 push ups on paralell bars with foot support, 120 dips, 40 handstand push ups, 55 pull/chin ups and do about 200 squats. do this 4-5 times a week. does anyone think this will be anything similar to the work load of a gymnast?
