Body weight workout

Hi all. I'm going on vacation soon. I wont be able to bring any weights with me, so I'm trying to come up with a body weight routine.

My first step is just to compile exercises that require only body weight. I will probably be near a tree while camping, but I wont even have a wall or anything. The only "equiptment" I'll have will be the cooler. I plan to use it for step ups. They wont be easy :).

If you can think of anything, please add to this thread and give me some idea's. I'll be doing my running on trails at the campground, so no issues with cardio.

I will also have a mat with me so I wont be directly on the ground, but the ground I'm sure will not be very comfortable for exercising flat on it. I'm going to try sit ups, but not sure how they'll be. If the ground bothers me, then I'm planning to discontinue them.

Squat
Single leg squat
Lunge forward
Lunge Backward
Step ups
Push ups
Tricep dips
Sit ups

Resistance bands

I highly reccomend them for travelling. They are not too expensive and SUPER light weight and compact. I use them myself at home but bought them specifically for travelling. With trees and such around you you could do many many wonderfull exercises that would be easy and convenient.

Otherwise your above list looks great! More than adquate unless perhaps you are training for the olympics..... :)

Definitely not olympic training!

I'm wondering if there's anything else for the upper body? Push ups and tricep dips are all I got there.

I'll narrow my list down closer to the day and post what I've decided to keep.

Overall, I'm thinking I'll do the set a few times till I get to 25-30 min. Depending on how hard I'm working myself (probably not hard with the length of time I'll be doing), I'll likely do it daily. And I'm so going to love running on trails!
