BMR and continually cutting calories

I'm a 21 year old 5'7.5" 132.4 pound female. I calculated my BMR to be 1,447 calories. My question is, how much can I cut calories from here. Back when I was heavier, I could cut 500 calories out of my daily intake and be within normal limits, but I'd assume that cannot continue forever. At what point is it just unhealthy to continue cutting calories?

You probably know this already but BMR doesn't = the amount of calories to consume in order to breakeven..... right?

It is what my body needs to function properly, right? So does that mean my calorie intake should not drop below 1447?

your bmr is your resting rate the calories you'd need if you pretty much never got out of bed... i assume you get out of bed so your calories can go up from there and you'd still be below what you need to lose weight

At worst, your break even calorie intake is 1734 (1447x1.2). So yeah, you could probably eat a minimum of 1,200 calories and be at a -3500 per week...

Your BMR is your base rate.

Then using the Harris Benedict Formula you need to times that by your activity level (eg. 1.2 for sedentary, and it goes up). Look it up on google.
