BMR Advice

I'm new here and have been lurking for a couple weeks taking it all in as I push forward! Lots of interesting and helpful information! I have a question that I did not see addressed. I've calculated my BMR and used the Harris Benedict Formula to determine my recomended calorie intake (my goal is to drop 2 lbs a week through exercise and calorie deficient). I'm not obsessive over being 100% precise calorie counting but I track everything through Fit Day to a reasonable accuracy to meet my goals. Any recommendations on how many pounds loss denote a recalculation and adjustment? Many thanks for the advice! Bye for now! :seeya:

Your BMR isn't' what you should be calculating against -that's the amount oc alories you'd need if you were to never get out of bed.. Don't forget to factor in activity. (there's a stickied thread or two that you should read.. )

And keep in mind it's just a guideline... that you will probably have to adjust a bit based on how your body responds...

Generally around every 20lbs is a good guideline to reevaluate your calories and in some casses, if you've been working out and eating healthily - you might et to bump up your caloreis more -

Just pay attention to your body..
