I am a total Blogger and was wondering who else may blog? I have a sports blog and a Political Blog. Usually I update my political blog a few times a week if I have time.

When I was on the road 48 weeks out of the year -I used to keep a travel blog -full of stories and pictures of the idiocy that I'd see in every day life and the pictures capturing the idiotic things people would do in various places...

It was written for my own amusement -and really had no clue that I had readers -until I just got bored with it and took the site down -and got all sorts of emails as to what happened to it... best compliment I got on it was I was the female equivelent to bill bryson :)

you and Gordy should consider incorporating blogging into your new site... sometimes those random streams of consciousness are enlightening... and people have something to learn from them..

Hmmm, I was thinking that. If I did that though, would I do away with things such as question of the month, exercise tip of the week, etc etc.... since all that stuff theoretically would be discussed in the blog?

It could expand on those topics....

or could lead to other topics...

you never know where something could go... while in some cases blogs are purely ego-driven.. it could also humanize the site allowing people to see the thoughts of the real people behind the site...

That's right up my alley, I want people to feel who we are. As much as I want it to be a successful business, I don't want it to have that strict "corporate" feel, if you know what I mean.

That said, I'm not sure how much time I'd be able to lend to updating the blog.... it might have to be something we institute down the line.

You know, blogs really shouldnt be time consuming. Usually when I blog (this does not include my political blog) I write maybe 5 minutes out of the day about things that I notice. If you wanted to, you could create a blog related to health and fitness and post things you notice (maybe trends in diets or things of that nature) and respond to them.

I use to have a blog site...but now i just blog on my myspace page..about my weightloss journey....
