Sport Blending foods for shakes, as meal substitutes...

Is this a good idea?

Mainly because I need to somehow consume 400 calories, 10 g protein, 40 g carbs, 14g fat in about 2 minutes. :p

The life of a highschool student. I want to keep an equilibrium between my meal times, so I thought to this nifty way to eat everything in about 1/10 the time....DRINK it!

Could this be a hazard for a snack? Can the blended foods somehow get super powers that make them high in saturated fats if they like..blend together with others?

why so little protein in that shake?

blending doesn't change the nutrients one bit.

but a lot of blended flavors may be quite unsavory.
 
I basically just even out my amount of everything in 6 meals.

2,497 calories
356g Carbs
81g Protein
83g Fat

I'm looking into buying those fish oil fat supplements.

I've read some pro athletes blend most of there food, as liquid food puts less strain on the gut freeing up bodily resources for muscle repair and growth.

If your blending in advance some foods may go off very quickly if in liquid form and not in the fridge. You'll probably just have to go by trial and error to see what works. If you looking for extra protein tofu can be blended into drinks, if you don't mind the taste.

Well I did it.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it's pretty creamy. I don't know how I'll finish it in 3 minutes. =P

But I'll try.
 
i just tought about this today.. couldnt you drink/eat ur vomit juice on ur commute?

personally id be ashamed if anyone saw me with it.. ^_^
 
Oh that is just NASTY...

No to mention the amount of damage you're doing to your esophogus and other various mouth parts while injesting stomach acid...

Plus, I am pretty sure you're going to lose most of your nutrients the longer your food stays in that container.

Nobody, what are you doing, like, drinking in between passing periods?

haha.. yeah.. well.. the ladies like it ^_^ but fnck im trying to gain weight but it aint gaining very fast! i know ive only been doign this **** for 2 weeks but geez >_< lol
