Sport Biscuits, Failure and Going Out

Sport Fitness
Biscuits used to be my biggest downfall, i could easily polish off a packet with a cup of tea or coffee.

Ive not had a biscuit or chocolate or sweets or crisps for 7 weeks. and then easter hit.

I ate far too many maltesers on sunday and just at 3 biscuits at work - there were in a nice box and i could resist!

Anway, what id like to know is what is the best thing to do when you have these 'little moments'

Do you carry on as if you never had them, go run around the block a dozen times or just adjust what you'd planned to eat for the rest of the day?

Also, im going out for a meal tonight (italian i think) so that will be extra kcals. how do people usually fit meals out into trying to tone and burn fat?

Finally im off out tmw night for my first big night out in ages. I dont usually drink a lot anyway and takeaways dont bother me much (I'll never forget the guys face when i ordered a houmous pitta bread at 3 am) but its all extravagances and it certainly breaks up the gym routine. Just as i started to get more hardcore i have a 3 day failure! Frustrating.

Thanks

Ben

My goal is to lower my body fat so for now when I go out I have grilled or steamed white fish with steamed green veggies. Shouls be easy to get this in any classic italian (and I don't mean the chain places or pizzeria's). Since I eat out a lot this is the only way but then if you only go out for dinner once in two weeks you can have your cheat meal then. Just make sure that the rest of the time you're not cheating!

P.S. I think you're craving all these carbs because you're not eating a balanced diet. I used to love biscuits and chocolate now that I'm eating small amounts of right things 6 times a day you can put a box of chocolates and I wouldn't have trouble saying 'no'. I only crave carbs now for emotional reasons.

If it makes you feel any better...

Yesterday everyone at work was raving about this Gyro stand that had opened up behind us (one of those good ones like you see at fairs. lol). Everyone went out to get one and I couldn't resist.

I did get the Cajan Chicken though..

After I ate it, geesh I went into a kinda depression, looked up an approx cal on it.. came up with like 800cals, added that to the 300 I had that morning.. and it was only NOON!!

Well, I probably did the worst thing I could have done after that, but I couldn't even look at food. I ended up skipping my meals, had one protein shake at 7:00 o'clock along with 3 pieces of beef jerky and then went out walking.. the whole time I walked I kept thinking of me nibbling those calories away..at 3 miles, I couldn't stop.. I just kept going.. I ended up doing 5 mile walk last night, drank some water and crashed.

I am back in on track now, but no gyros for me. For me it is now, just say NO, it just screws up the rest of my day!!

I'm stuck at a friends house for 3 days with nothing to eat but junk food.

Wish me luck, I'll need it.

This whole week has been a failure week, and I'm pretty upset about it.
