Sport Biltong (similar to Beef Jerky)

Sport Fitness
Please see the approximate nutritional values below.

My question is this, Biltong appears to have small amounts of trans fats in it. I was hoping to use this cured beef as a tasty source of protein until I noticed the trans fats. I know they are bad, but just how bad is this amount?

all animal fat contains trans fat. Its the man-made hydrogenated trans fats that are a real problem because they are higher concentrations of trans fat than beef.

What I do not like is the 4 GRAMS of salt in that stuff. 4grams is the RDA. PER DAY. 4000mg of salt per serving? Good lord. Jerky is usually high in salt but that's freaking retarded.

Do Not Want.
