my tip for bigger biceps is more compound back exercises. pull ups, barbell rows , deadlifts, with a couple sets of curls (barbell, dumbbell...mix it up) at the end of the session.
The popular approach to this is with specific arm work. If that would help, everyone would have big arms. The fact that not everyone has big arms shows that what's popular is usually the least effective.
