Big and Tall Help

Hey,

I've lost some weight and now I'm looking to look good. I have a wedding coming up May 25th and hopefully many job interviews. I want to be looking my best for both occassions. I would like to get a very nice suit in the $1000 range nicely tailored. However, I don't have a clue where to go for such a suit. I'm in Chicago and I figured that it was possible somebody on here would know.

- from what i've seen they do have suit seperates (which might fit better than a single suit) -- yelp says the store on addison is small and stock is limited but you might find something you like.

Rochester Big and Tall (there's one somewhere on Michigan) Yelp says emphasis is more on tall than big - but you might find something...

My personal favorite though would be - Brooks Brothers - good quality suits that will last you a life time;... website says their suits go to 56XLong - and I'm pretty sure that their stores all have tailors on premisis... so your suit would be fit snappily - and when you drop some more lbs - you could go back and have it altered... (my dad's worn brooks brother's suits since his college days (uhhhh 50+ years ago) and he can still wear some of them and they look good...

look for a tropical weight wool suit... i

I buy a lot of my clothes at Casual Male, but I was there today and wasn't impressed with the suit selection. I have a Rochester catalog I just got yesterday so maybe I will search them out a little. Brooks Brothers would be great, but I'm guessing I'd need a bigger suit than a 56. I need to find this out. My guess is I need a 58.
