Ok guys, listen up....Netscape is a screw job, money stealing, fraudulant business....Here is the story....
Netscapes offers $9.95/mth internet, first month for free and if you cancel within the first month there are no charges. Sounds good? So we signed up for it. Right away, we were charged $9.95 on our bank card. That made us mad that they'd down and out lie like that, so we go to cancel our acct. Of course, only one person can cancel your acct..no one else, so you have to wait on hold FOREVER. SOOO....we get this guy (who says the office is in India) and he cancels the acct and says that we will get a refund in 2-3 dys.
SO, here we are today, go to check our bank acct and find out, netscape charged $109.45 to our acct! That's $9.95 x 11 months...they said we had a committment to one year service. Which, was NOT the case ( we canceled in 2 wks, had 30 dys to cancel)! SO, we call back and after being on hold for forever, again, we get told the same thing, they will reverse the charges in 2-3 days. THey didnt' do it the first time, why would they do it this time?? What a rip!
Ok, so how does AOL figure into this? AOL, ownes Netscape!! They set up a crappy service on purpose, so you...A) go to netscape and they get your money anyways, or B) go to netscape..giving aol your $..then get mad at netscape and go back to AOL.
Its all a big marketing scam... You go to Goggle and Type in "netscape sucks" or whatever, NOTHING comes up at all..know why? Netscape is Goggles main sponsor!

Do you have cable? We have internet through our cable company and love it! It is WAY faster than dial up. I use netscape as my web browser but don't actually have my internet service through them. I have also tried AOL (that's where I met my husband!) and it totally sucked! SOOOOO SLOWWWW!
