Best workout regime?

Hello!
I began the south beach diet in march to clean up my eating habits, I vary between phases 1 and 2. I am wondering what a good workout would be to maximize fat loss, esp around the core and thighs. I currently am running 2.5-3.5 miles a day about 3-5 days a week. If possible I would like exercises to use as little equipment as possible (so I can workout in my home if the gym is closed). Thanks!!

Well in terms of the best workout regime it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. I do not workout at the gym but I do all my workouts at home. Here is a typical workout which lasts from 40 to 60mins. Its a high intensity training work out.

5mins skip (if no rope jog or sprint on the spot, jumping jacks, jump squats all up to 5 mins)

elevated pushups (30 sec to 1min) - Take your time so you don't get tired focus on form not amount
squat (30 sec to 1min)
(30 sec rest)

close arm pushup (30 sec to 1min)
1 leg squat (30 sec to 1min)

diamond pushup
lunge

pushup to leg touch
jump lunge
