It REALLY worked!!! It was perfect!! It's long-gone now and nobody has stepped up to fill the void. Try as I might to find a suitable substitute, none seem to exist.
For those of you anti-creatine types, please don't stomp on my thread with your warnings and horrible stories of how creatine stole your health, ravaged your family, pillaged your fields and raped your daughters. I'm inviting responses from posters who know anything about the no-longer-available EAS Phosphagain product, had experience with it, know of a truly effective product of similar ilk (creatine-based, "effective" for strength gains) that is currently available as a retail product, and/or individuals who would like to inquire or are curious about the product and how similar products assist weight-lifters and strength-trainers. No spammers either, please! I need unbiased, objective feedback.
I made several attempts to get any sort of reasonable feedback on the subject from EAS staffers but have met with little more than attention-redirects and non-answers. Here's a recent inquiry of mine and subsequent response from an EAS rep:

EAS staff,
Thanks for your response.
so far, I've never gotten a straight answer (and don't
believe I ever will) as to why Phosphagain was phased
out. It REALLY worked for strength. Since then,
nothing comes close. It put me 50 lbs. above a
long-running plateau on my bench. Gains in strength
were obvious after only a few days of use. There was
no "gap" to fill. Phosphagain left no gaps!
Phosphagain gave the lifter an advantage - an edge
that he/she otherwise would not have had - equating to
strength gains he/she otherwise would not have made. I
gained very little in size (perfect!!) but gained
massively in strength (perfect!!) with Phosphagain.
Back in 1996, my bench had plateaued at 300# for many
months. Two months after starting Phosphagain, I was
above 350#! Two months! And it was the ONLY change I
made!
Above and beyond ALL other available supplements,
Phosphagain was unmatched for strength increases. The
formula was just better - more effective. The
combination of ingredients was ideal for strength
gains. Now with all this yucky "cool-aid-flavored"
stuff being put out, it seems almost impossible to
find anything like the old Phosphagain formula -
something "creamy and substantive", not just "sweet,
watery, thin" - something in vanilla or chocolate -
not fruit punch or grape or orange or whatever. It
went from an adult "shake" to a kids' "fountain drink"
- yuck! Why? Better "transport"? Hardly! I used both
types for years since 1996. Phosphagain worked
**MUCH** better than any of the cool-aid wannabes.
Phosphagain was the best!
Why was Phosphagain phased out????

Well, at least he thanked me <rolls eyes>.
Anybody wish to offer any meaningful input on this?
Thanks all!!
