The only things I know about weight loss
1) Eating a good balance of fresh and natural nutrient-rich foods.
(As little of processed food as is possible. The further you are processing a food the less healthy and beneficial for you it becomes.)
2) Balancing your intake with your outtake. This seems simple, but in most of our lives our work and family scheduals give us little time to focus solely on our own personal goals for more than a few minutes a day.
3) Finding and incorporate some level of activity, on a regular basis. Consistency usually only comes with finding that activity that is fun for you , that gets you excited , that encourages you to keep going.
4) Getting a good and regular sleep. Keeping a consistent sleep schedual is important.
5) Don't stress and focus on negatives or setbacks. This only delays your progress.
And THESE are the only things I know that work, and that work over a prolonged period of time. I was a yo-yo dieter, and even suffered with an eating disorder as an adolescent - but a healthy balanced lifestyle has helped me lose about 70 lbs several years ago, and have kept it off.
Now I just want the last ten, and I'll be thrilled!
