i have to say it, sorry!

All Prot' shakes are discusting!!!

BUT

4 or 5 x whole eggs (27.6g) + 3 servings of milkshake powder (i use Milo which is 9.9g for 3 servings) and 400ml of light milk (16g) will give you 53.5g of protein alone in one shake....

Not to mention, they taste 10 times better than commercial protein shakes, i even have got my 16yo sister on to them who doesnt do any sort of fitness training (lazy eh?) who just drinks it for the taste. Little does she know that its made with eggs hehe.

Oh yeah, its cheaper to :)

whoa slow down there cowboy your body only uses 30g of protein at a time that seems too much in one shake..... My shakes are 30g protein and I take 2 a day. Maybe that mixture breaks down differently though I could be wrong.

I guess it depends if you're bulking or cutting.

My understanding is that its 1.5g of protein per body LBS when bulking which means I personally would need 303g of protein during bulking 53g over 5 shakes.

But at the end of the day, its really what works for you personally and thats what works for me :)

Can you show me a medical study showing that the body can only use 30 grams of protein per sitting? Also, why does can it only digest 30 grams.

I don't mean to call you out. I have friends who are dietetics and we argue all the time on this very subject. I def. believe the body can handle more than 30 grams per sitting, just from my personal experience.

I would love it if I was so famed and respected that my word mattered, but since it does not, LOL, I will pass along some articles for you to review containing some of the best in the industry. Hopefully you learn a thing or 2 before making claims about what your body can and can't handle. Again, not trying to be rude, just hate when famous myths are tossed around by individuals who take them as truthful before doing any research of their own.

I would pull some more resources but I don't know any place around that does more research than T Nation.

Protien breaks down from the time you ingest it to the time you absorb it. Even if you were able to digest only 30 grams at a time, you'd still want a surplus so that you WOULD absorb 30 g.

Sorry Strout, I didn't read those articles either. Guilty. But from what I've read, you're a good guy and you DESERVE respect. I'll just give it to you later. Hahahhaha just kidding.

Im with you, if the body can handle that 100g of carbs from that plate of pasta or 50+g of fat from that bowl of ice cream why can it only handle 30g of protein?
