Sport Best Proteins, yogurts, oatmeals

Hi

I am turning 19 and am close to 200lbs. I am starting this new diet called the Dax Moy Elimination Diet. I need a good amount of protein and i have been eating egg whites but the ones not from the egg, but from a carton of just the egg white. There is no fat in it and really anything else and 5g protein. Is this okay to be eating or is it bad for me compared to the egg white straight from the egg? Also, i dont know if i should be taking a protein shake or not, and i am starting to workout more often, trying to lift weights and do cardio. Also what would be the healthiest Oatmeal and Yogurts? One more thing, are carrots still a great vegetable to eat even tho their is some sugar in it? Cause i'm a picky vegetable eater and i really only like Spinach and Carrots.Also, in the diet it says no WHEAT at all, can i still eat like Whole Grain Bread and brown rice? or does all brown Rice have wheat?And is edamame bad?
