Best protein shake/creatine

Hellooo.

Some people recomend to take protein shake and creatine. I cant really afford this. Im not sure which one to go with and which is the best one for me. Im a type 1 diabetic weighing 242lbs 5ft 10. I lift heavy and have been for 6 months properly now but almost a year ive been going to the gym. I have fairly big stomache. Arms are big to as in muscle. Would you recomend protein shake or creatine? I work out 3-4x a week and do the 8x3 workout for arms/chest/back. 15reps 4x for legs and for back. I want to bulk up but loose fat to.

Decided to get this for my clean cut~

did you just buy a supplement on ebay?

If you want a protein powder there are many options. i personally use Nitrean

Other recomend True Protein

You want a combination of Whey/Cassein Proteins. Search the forums and you will find a lot of info on different protein powders.

Ok mate. Thanks for your help. I decide to buy one then someone else says "no. buy this one" I get very confused as im a beginner to. haha.

Well I am just saying that since you're here and you want to lose some weight, why not read whats recomended. there are a lot of people with a lot of experience on here who have tried every type of protein powder you can find and they know whats good and whats not.

The 2 i suggested are better brands. Nitrean has a decent taste and mixes well. True Protein is very customizable and does not have added sugar content in it.

Yes matey. It would be best. Do you know any without sugar in? I dont want weight gainer as im 242lbs and want to loose. I dont want to loose any muscle..

Thanks

Im going to order this:

Link: PHD Pharma Whey, 5LB Tub, ALL FLAVOURS on eBay, also, Other Sporting Goods, Other Sporting Goods, Sporting Goods (end time 16-Nov-08 09:27:12 GMT)

I have to watch out due to diabeties but one a day should be fine and maybe one after a workout or on my workout days ile drink it after the workout. I go to college 9-5 dont get home till 6 though so it gets hard taking in protein. At the moment im on a cut. Trying to loose 20lbs but scared ile loose muscle...

There was a new article in Reuters talking about how keeping your protein intake high will help you lose weight. I definitely recommend protein shakes because of this new study. I use Nutribody -- it might be a good option for you because it doesnt have sugar! It's made of brown rice and pea protein and mixes really well.
Good luck,
Chris

Go to a store and buy your protein powder. Most nutrition stores have people that you can ask questions to and what not.

I just want one as im going on a clean cut so I wont be lifting heavy. I dont want to loose muscle.

Why arent you going to lift heavy while cutting???

Wesrman raises a good point here. Considering your goals, wouldn't you want to do as few reps as you can get away with?
