Now this is a tricky one im hoping someone can help me.

I want to get into a healthy eating way of life, to get back to a healthy figure, then be able to continue eating healthy but be able to have a snack about once a week (ie.beer or chocolate)

The thing is, people always say fruit and vedge etc but if you have already seen my journal you will know i just dont like a lot of healthy food. I dont like fruit, vedgetables, fish etc.

When asked for help on other forums people have just said 'well theres your problem, start to eat them' But i cant eat something i dont like.

My current diet is based on fresh food, mostly chicken. Most nights i will have some kind of chicken, chicken wrapped in bacon and cheese, chicken curry, and usually with rice or super noodles. But i tend to snack a lot to, on chocolates, ice cream. I usually have just one take-away a week, chippy or chinese.


So i know i need a new diet, i was just kind of hoping someone can help me out here..
 
You're not going to be able to make changes in your eating if you're not willing to change what you eat.

I used to prefer a bowl of cocoa pebbles over oatmeal in the mornings, because i didn't like oatmeal. Once you make the change and stick to it, your cravings for chinese supernoodles and chicken wrapped in bacon and cheese will go away.

I would suggest finding some vegetables and fruits that you can at least tolerate and start eating more of those. then you can start to try some new veggies and fruits... I think you'll find that you enjoy them more than you think.
 
Well fitness, health and fat loss are all different things.

Fitness is your overall strength.
Health is how healthy your body is.
and fat loss is... well I dont need to explaine that.

If you want to be fit you can simply run lots, do some HITT and eat more.
But you'll still be over weight and unhealthy all the while your eatting the way you are.
If you write up what you eat on a typical day then we can suggest somthing. As for the chinese. You'll have to restrain yourself, Its ok to have some chinese but If your having say special fried noodels, chicken balls, sweet and sour sauce and a main dish. Well thats 2500 cals right there.

When I get chinese I make my own noodels and just order the dishes.

I am sick when i eat this kinda food. If i was to eat say for example bananas etc i am sick.

My parents brought me up pretty much on chicken and chips lol but your a lot more active when your younger.

I do eat roast potatoes, if you class that as healthy i dont know. Occasionaly i can eat peas but thats as far as i can go. I am willing to give up the beer and chocolate now, but in the long term future it would be nice to treat myself to a night out with the lads etc.

My typical day usually is:

1-2 Chocolate bars
And then my tea most days which like i said is what i have already posted!
 
Roast potatoes are not classed as vegg, Its covered in oil for a start.

Its all in your head mate. Just eat it and dont be a girl.

If you dont you'll be dead before your 55.
 
Hold on.

Are you trying to say that you eat 2 choc bars and dinner every day. Nothing else? How are you still alive.

Sort it out fast or you wont have long left.
 
Unless you're allergic you ALL fruits and vegetables, you need to get used to them. (don't laugh, I'm allergic to a LOT of fruits :mad:) Eating two chocolate bars a day will get you absolutely no where, give them up! It sounds like you're using chocolate as a staple in your diet instead of a treat.

No one here is going to be able to help you if you won't help yourself. There's plenty of information on here to help guide you, it just seems like you don't want to put forth the effort.
 
On a serious note. This forum is for people who have made a good start and we are here to help them fine tune there diets and workout and give advice.

My only advice to you is go and see a doctor about this. he will reffer you to a dietieitan. You need to sort out this problem
 
Ok then. I will take all this into concideration. Although you say this stuff about fruit is in my head - well it ent, what am i ment to do force feed myself with food thats going to make me ill?

Today, i havent had any chocolate - just grilled chicken and noodles.

I think im going to make a food plan, start eating the 3 cereals a day and see how i go from there, i might look into this weight watchers thing, see if they can help me sort my food diet out.
